RETURNING HITS "7TH HEAVEN," "EVERWOOD," "REBA" AND "WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU" LEAD THE WB TO A #3 FINISH AMONG ALL NETWORKS IN WOMEN 12-34

"7TH HEAVEN" IS #6 FOR THE WEEK IN WOMEN 12-34, #18 IN WOMEN 18-34 AND #16 IN PERSONS 12-34; "EVERWOOD" IS #11 IN WOMEN 12-34.

BURBANK, CA (September 21, 2004) - The WB Network launched its Monday and Friday line-ups during the week of September 13-19 and scored major victories on both nights, finishing #1 in the key demo of women 12-34, leading the network to a #3 finish for the week in women 12-34 (2.3/7), with two of its most anticipated nights still to premiere.

Hot on the heels of the success of 7th Heaven and Everwood on Monday and Rebaand What I Like About You on Friday, The WB continues its rollout and unveils its Tuesday slate of Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill tonight, and its Wednesday line-up of Smallville and The Mountain tomorrow.

The performance of the Monday tandem of 7th Heaven and Everwood held up extremely well throughout the week as 7th Heaven was #1 among all shows in teens (4.9/18) and female teens (8.1/30), #6 in women 12-34 (5.0/15), #18 in women 18-34 (3.9/11) and #16 in persons 12-34 (3.1/10) and Everwood was #2 in teens (3.8/12) and female teens (6.0/22) and #11 in women 12-34 (4.0/11).

The WB also achieved a #1 ranking for the week in teens (1.9/7) and female teens (2.8/11). In female teens, The WB placed four of the top seven and six of the top 12 shows including 7th Heaven at #1 (8.1/30), Everwood at #2 (3.8/12), Reba (3.7/17), Charmed (3.5/12), Grounded For Life (2.8/14) and Jack & Bobby (2.6/14). Charmed was also a top 20 show in teens (#12, 2.8/10) and male teens (#17, 2.0/7) and Blue Collar TV ranked #17 in male teens (2.0/7).

"Everwood" Scores Second-Highest Premiere Or Debut In Its Time Period In The History Of The WB Among Women 18-34, Women 12-34 & Total Viewers.

On Monday, September 14, The WB's Monday got off to a phenomenal start as both 7th Heaven and Everwood scored in key demos in their season premieres. The two shows combined to give The WB a #1 ranking and victory for the night among all networks in women 12-34 (4.5/13), teens (4.3/15) and female teens (7.0/26) as well as a #3 ranking in persons 12-34 (2.8/8) and women 18-34 (3.6/10).

On Monday, 7th Heaven was #1 for the entire night in women 12-34 (5.0/15), teens (4.9/18) and female teens (8.1/30), #2 in its time period among adults 18-34 (2.4/7), women 18-34 (3.9/11), persons 12-34 (3.1/10) and women 18-49 (4.0/11). 7th Heaven even ranked well against its network competition in adults 18-49 (2.5/7, #3) and total viewers (7.3 million, #3).

Everwood achieved the second-highest premiere or debut in its time period in network history among women 18-34 (3.2/8), women 12-34 (4.0/11) and total viewers (6 million) as well as the third-highest rating in women 18-49 (3.1/7) and female teens (6.0/22). Everwood, entering its third season, was #1 in its time period among teens (3.8/12) and female teens (6.0/22), #2 in women 12-34 (4.0/11) and #3 in persons 12-34 (2.5/7). Everwood also achieved year-to-year gains over last season's premiere in women 18-34 (3.2/8, +7%), women 12-34 (4.0/11, +11%), teens (3.8/12, +3%), female teens (6.0/22, +13%), and total viewers (6 million, +2%).

"Reba" & "What I Like About You" Win Friday! Leading The WB To A Great Night Of Premieres.

The WB Friday Comedy Block Ranks #1 For The Night In Women 12-34, Teens And Female Teens, #2 In Persons 12-34 And #3 In Adults 18-34 And Women 18-34.

The WB's Friday line-up got off to a great start to the 2004-05 season, led by Reba, which improved over last season's premiere in many key demos including adults 18-34 (2.0/7, +11), persons 12-34 (2.0/8, +18%), women 18-34 (2.9/10, +7%), women 12-34 (3.1/11, +35%), men 18-34 (1.1/4, +22%), adults 18-49 (2.1/7, +17%), women 18-49 (3.1/9, +29%), men 18-49 (1.2/4, +9%), teens (2.0/10, +43%), female teens (3.7/17, +147%) and total viewers (4.8 million (+12%). Reba was also #1 FOR THE ENTIRE NIGHT among women 12-34 (3.1/11), teens (2.0/10) and female teens (3.7/17) and #1 in its time period among women 18-34 (2.9/10). Reba also ranked #2 in its time period among persons 12-34 (2.0/8) and women 18-49 (3.1/9) and was #3 in adults 18-34 (2.0/7), adults 18-49 (2.1/7) and all male demos.

Reba's success catapulted The WB to a #1 finish for the night in women 12-34 (2.5/10), teens (1.7/8) and female teens (2.7/13). The WB Friday was also #2 among persons 12-34 (1.8/7) and #3 in adults 18-34 (1.8/7) and women 18-34 (2.5/9).

What I Like About You also got off to a smashing start to the season. The third-year show improved over last season's premiere in adults 18-34 (1.7/7, +21%), women 18-34 (2.5/9, +56%), women 12-34 (2.5/10, +25%), adults 18-49 (1.6/5, +45%), women 18-49 (2.3/3, +77%) and total viewers (3.3 million, +15%). What I Like About You also scored #1 time period ranks in women 12-34 (2.5/10), teens (1.7/9) and female teens (2.6/14) as well as #2 finishes in adults 18-34 (1.7/7), persons 12-34 (1.7/7) and women 18-34 (2.5/9). The leadoff show achieved its fourth-highest delivery ever with 3.3 million total viewers.

The launch of Grounded For Life achieved growth over its year-ago premiere in women 12-34 (2.5/10, +9%), women 18-34 (2.4/9, +4%), women 18-49 (2.2/7, +16%), teens (1.7/9, +6%) and female teens (2.8/14, +22%). The family comedy ranked #1 in its time period among female teens (2.8/14) and teens 12-17 (1.7/9), finished #2 in women 12-34 (2.5/10) and persons 12-34 (1.8/8) and placed #3 in women 18-34 (2.4/9), women 18-49 (2.2/7) and adults 18-34 (1.9/7).
